Great way to see main sites!

Our family really enjoyed this guided, narrated tour of the main sites in London (Thames River, Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, St. Paul's). We saw places that we may not have ventured to ourselves. Mostly, we were on dedicated bike paths. However, there were a few street crossings that we felt were dangerous - we didn't cross at a cross walk or lights, so navigating a group of 12 or so cyclists across traffic that comes in the opposite direction to our country, was very hectic and scary. I am not sure why our guide didn't take us a short ways to cross at lights. We also only had a 10 min. break to get food/toilet break and when time was up, he promptly left the park, assuming that all of us were following, and just left before checking. Overall, we were happy with the day, but realized that some of the street crossings were just plain dangerous.

Fantastic exploration of the East End on the Old Town tour

Fantastic cycling tour of London's East End via the Old Town tour. My tour guide was Jordi, and he was superb; very knowledgeable about places of interest around the tour route. The route is a carefully chosen mixture of cycle paths and quiet stretches of London's roads. At each stop, after roughly every 5-10 minutes max riding time, there was a break, a chat about each place, and opportunities to ask questions, of which Jordi always had the answer. The route was mostly flat with a limited number of inclines, but nothing that would put off the majority of people. People like myself who may have liked to have taken a hire bike to London's roads but were nervous about doing so would do well to book on a tour like this in the first instance. To be under the guide of an experienced cyclist makes negotiating London traffic very easy. I would recommend this tour to anyone who would like to see more of the real London, to get off the beaten track and see some parts that tourists, even regular visitors to London like myself, would like to see.

Very interesting and enjoyable biking tour!

Very interesting and enjoyable biking tour ! We learned a lot about our guide who also took a great care of all the cyclist, guiding them through the traffic jam, and taking time to explain the most interesting places. I highly recommend this tour :-) (26th July).

Our guide Ross was fantastic. We had such a fun time cycling around London seeing all the sights and hearing all the stories. An excellent activity for a mixed age range. It was fab to see our teenagers enjoying a family activity with us and close friends. Thank you (24th July).

This tour is amazing and we discovered the sights from a new angle. Our guide Max knew many interesting facts and was very thoughtful about our safety and well being during the tour. We don't use our bikes at home a lot but the tour was easy for us and traffic no problem with the special bike lanes (21st July).

Took a private tour with Charliene on May 30. Charliene is a great guide. The private tour booking on the website is really easy. You propose a date and tour and it immediately puts you with an available guide. The tour was very affordable--a surprise for London. The "Old Town Bicycle Tour." It stays kind of East. Off the beaten path. More or less from the Tower bridge east. Seemed perfect since I've spent a lot of time in Westminster and around the parks. It was a fascinating tour. She set a perfect pace and her explanation of the stops was very interesting. I give her the highest marks. A highlight was our rest stop at the Prospect of Whitby pub, arguably the oldest in London and overlooking the Thames. We stopped at the Borough market as well and learned something of its ancient history. A great half day. See my photos. Give me a helpful vote (1st July 2017).
