My son and I really enjoyed our bike tour with Sonia last night. There were just four on our tour. Sonia was animated and full of interesting stories. She was very conscious of safety. It was about 12 miles - all flat. Most of the tour was on quiet streets or bike paths. I highly recommend going and think it is a great activity for teens.
Well worth the time. Olly was our guide and kept everyone entertained and involved as he rolled out the tales and history of London along the route. You might think 3.5 hours is a long time for a bicycle tour but honestly, the time went by so quickly it was almost disappointing when it ended. I'll credit this to Olly's ability to make sure we all laughed while taking in the sights and scenery of the great city. Well recommended! We will definitely ride with the London Bicycle Tour Company again. Perhaps next time not on London's hottest day in history. :-)
The Tour was great fun! we had a great guide birgit, who took great care of us. Great bicycle tour. the best way to see London. I enjoyed passing all of pedestrians.
We did the love London tour because we had already seen many if the classic sites. It was a very hot day but the guide did a good job of stopping in the shade and not going too fast. The guide was from the Netherlands but I can’t remember his exact name (Janis maybe). Anyway he was very knowledgeable and had a relaxed style which I liked. The traffic was bad in parts but the guide kept us all together and safe, which can be tricky when you have a group with kids.
Olly was an awesome tour guide! The classic tour was a 3.5 hour tour mixed with biking along with lots of stops for photo opportunities and a chance to hear about the history. Each point we stopped at allowed for 10-15 min for pictures, and rest. Take a water bottle! This was the highlight of our London trip!
The tour office is fairly convenient to get to, and well run. Nadja was great! She has lived in London for the past four years, and clearly knows her way around. My wife had an issue with her back tire after getting started, and in an instant she hopped on her bike and swapped it out for a new bike in minutes. Nadja is knowledgeable on history, sites, and also very attentive to the crowd and making sure they are safe and not forgotten. Very personable, I highly recommend touring with her!
Brilliant tour with an amazing guide. Nadja, being a theatre student has a real penchant for narration and made the tour eminently enjoyable. Great way to see the important spots in London, especially if you're short on time
It you like ride a bicycle this is a tour for you. Very informative a lot of fun not just for avid riders (not intese) light riding along the streets of London. Our guide Ollie was fun, informative, theatrical, enthusiastic and all around funny. Great attraction for the family takes around 3 and a half hours and gives you ideas where to visit next attraction wise in London. I would recommend doing this in the first or second day of your trip.
Everything was perfect. The pace was suitable for everybody. Catherine was very committed and responsible. She was very well prepared, too, to provide us with loads of information without overwhelming adults nor adolescents.
