Brigid our guide took frequent stops to share tidbits of history along the route. She was fun and made the ride very interesting.
Highly recommend this activity. You cover a lot of ground in a short period of time. It is included in the London Pass.
My husband and I really enjoyed our bike ride through London. We were able to see all of the important sights in a short amount of time. Our guide was great and able to share some history and knowledge about the tourist attractions. Definitely recommend.
We booked a private tour with Birgit. It was a great experience, the kids had fun and learnt loads. We live in London but we had family visiting for a very short time from abroad, so we thought this tour would be perfect t show them the city. I would highly recommend it. Our visitors were extremely happy with the tour!
Ah, the renaissance man is alive and well and escorting adventure seeking tourists on bicycle tours through the crowded streets of London during the Christmas season! Our bike guide Ollie and his rollicking joie de vivre was the highlight of our time in jolly ole England. We were a family of 6 from Canada and we were joined by another family of 6 from Mexico and at the helm was our fearless leader Ollie who wheeled and peeled us through holiday rush hour traffic and hordes of frenzied shoppers with festive tunes blaring from his bluetooth speaker. A wonderful goodwill ambassador for his beloved city, Ollie is a historian, a patron of the arts, a lover of literature and cinema, it was only fitting that he ended our 4 hour tour (some of us were slower on the wheels) expounding the verses of William Blake. Highly recommend this attraction and our exceptional guide.
We had Olly, the funnies, most entertaining and informative tour guide we've ever had. He adds a bit flare and a touch of humor to all his descriptions. My family (2 adults, 2 teens and a 10 year old) enjoyed every moment. Thanks, Olly! We will forever remember your anecdotes!
We really enjoyed the Love London bike tour. Ollie was an awesome guide. Super knowledgeable and made sure our group was together. We were taken through areas that we wouldn't have found on our own.
Very good tour and enjoyed seeing the city and Londoners at night. Felt safe and comfortable riding through streets and navigating busy traffic areas. Saw the listed sites and even a bonus Leake St. tunnel (graffiti and street art tunnel). Guide was fun and knowledgeable. We planned the tour for our first evening in London, hoping it would give us a high level view of things. Unfortunately, we had to reschedule due to lack of participants, so we toured the next evening. By that time we had already walked and seen many of the tour highlights by day, so tour was a bit redundant. Still would recommend, as it was enjoyable.
I had a fantastic time on this bike tour of London. Our guide, Catherine, knew London well and was very helpful. She could navigate all the cycle paths well, and was knowledgeable about the route and the sights along it. I was in a small group of four and it was perfect. I am not a very confident bike rider and I still managed to have a great time. I would highly recommend this tour. Thank you.
The night tour with the London Bicycle Tour Company was beautiful! Seeing the London Eye, Big Ben, the London Bridge, The Parliament Building, and the city lit up at night was totally worth it. Shout out to Birgit, she was such a fun, enthusiastic tour guide. Loved it!
I thoroughly enjoyed this tour with my welcoming fellow bikers and our outstanding guide, Corrine. She gave us an excellent pre-tour safety overview and made sure we all stuck together. No one was going to get lost from the group! She took us by so many of the iconic London locations, like Parliament Square, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, The Royal Horse Guards, and St. Paul’s Cathedral (to name only a handful of places we visited), but also to places that I’d heard of but had never thought to visit, like the site of William Wallace’s (think ‘Braveheart’, the movie) execution and St. Bart’s Hospital. She gave wonderful overviews of the places we saw. There was a nice coffee break at Covent Garden. I would also like to thank Corrine for her enthusiasm and care for her riders. Now, to the bikes: my fellow riders seemed to have excellent cycles while I had to quickly change my bike at the beginning due to a flat tire. Later in the tour, the bolt that held the seat in place broke and so the seat was like a swivel chair. No deal breaker. Just a suggestion for periodic maintenance and repair of bikes. Finally, I believe most everyone of average fitness could have a great time. You’ll want to be fairly confident on a bike, but don’t worry about being an Olympic-level athlete. Just go and have fun! Highly recommend.
