I really can't express how awesome the tour was, and how it served as a foundational understanding of the area for us over the next few days.

Birgit was a fantastic guide! It was especially interesting learning the roots of so many common idioms. It rained lightly during our tour which was even better as the crowds had thinned out. Everyone was offered a poncho and helmet beforehand and was provided with time to get acclimated to the bikes. Take this tour is you want to experience many famous London landmarks in a unique way!

Went on the gold tour on 16 January, 2023. It was so much fun. The bikes and safety equipment were good and the ride itself was pretty relaxed. It was cold and windy so there were just 3 of us and our guide, Birgit. She was great: knowledgeable, funny, and left us plenty of time for questions and pictures. We saw Big Ben, Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and the changing of the guard, St Paul's, Trafalgar Square, and had a nice break in Covent Garden. Highly recommended. What a wonderful way to see the city! Our guide Birgit was so knowledgeable. I learned so much from her about so many London locations, and so many English language idioms! I'd recommend taking this tour near the beginning of your time in London as it will help you get your bearings and decide what to investigate further. We were very lucky to have a very small group - only three of us plus our guide - and Otto at the store was so helpful getting us set up with bikes, helmets and rain ponchos. Couldn't possibly recommend the London Bicycle Tour Company more.
